Juggling in Movies

Broadway Melody of 1940 (1940)

[Fred Astaire, Eleanor Powell, George Murphy, Frank Morgan]

Johnny Brett and King Shaw are a not very successful dance team in New York. A producer discovers Brett as the new partner for Clare Bennett, but Brett, who thinks he is one of the people from whom they lent money, gives him the name of his partner. Because of Shaw's attitude to alcohol, problems begin.

This film features Trixie Firschke doing some mouthstick and ball tricks in a scene with Fred Astaire. Excellent juggling scene of almost 4 minutes also includes good 6 plate juggling. Also contains unicyclist Blair Woolstencroft.
