Juggling in MoviesScenes from a Mall (1991)[Paul Mazursky film; Bette Midler, Woody Allen, Bill Irwin]On their 16th anniversary, during a shopping stroll, the lawyer Nick Fifer confesses some affairs to his wife Deborah. She goes wild and insists on a divorce. After they agree to the division of their belongings, Deborah confesses having an affair also. Now he gets very upset and wants the divorce for his part, but the last word is not spoken yet.
Bill Irwin has a lead role as a mime, and appears frequently throughout
the film, always in character, and thus never speaks. Two variety acts
were shown briefly, including Chinese acrobat Chun Long Zhang (at 26:09)
and magician Kamarr (at 1:07:08). Bette Midler passes by a diabolo
juggler very briefly, who was hard to see.
