Juggling in MoviesThe Walk (2015)[Robert Zemeckis film; Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Charlotte Le Bon, Guillaume Baillargeon]Twelve people have walked on the moon, but only one man - Philippe Petit (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) - has ever, or will ever, walk in the immense void between the World Trade Center towers. Guided by his real-life mentor, Papa Rudy (Ben Kingsley), and aided by an unlikely band of international recruits, Petit and his gang overcome long odds, betrayals, dissension and countless close calls to conceive and execute their mad plan. Director Robert Zemeckis uses cutting edge technology in the service of an emotional, character-driven story. See also: Man on Wire.
Quite a bit of juggling is shown in a 14 minute period starting at 02:30.
Although it appears that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is doing the juggling,
much of this was done with stand-ins or special effects. What is shown
is hat tricks, ball spinning, unicycling, a juggling street performance,
3 balls on a unicycle, 4 (or 5) clubs on a slack rope, 3 torches on a
slack rope, and juggling of a club, mallet, and rubber chicken.
